The organization was founded in 1998 and operates a 24/7 phone, text, and chat crisis line, as well as providing resources and education to parents, educators, and other adults who work with youth. Serving close to 1,500 campers each year with programs that build courage, foster hope and promote healing for children with cancer and their families. In 2021, our U.S. customers alone donated over $50 million through restaurant facilitated fundraisers to support RMHC families.

Around the world, there are many ways to donate to RMHC® in most McDonald’s restaurants. RMHC® Donation Boxes accept cash donations inside most restaurants and drive-thru. Family Support Services (FSS) provides compassionate emotional support, education, and resources to the families and staff of the Ronald McDonald House. We are available to you seven days a week, 24 hours a day, every day of the year even after you leave the house and return home. Moreover, it’s important to recognize that giving doesn’t have to be limited to financial donations.
